JSIE hosted the second Washington Women’s Dialogue on March 30, 2016, with the cooperation of Keidanren USA and some female volunteers in Washington D.C.
At the second Washington Women’s Dialogue, we welcomed Ms. Keiko Honda, the Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA). Approximately 30 participants working in Washington, D.C. actively exchanged views on leadership roles and career development on the international scene. After the Q&A session, networking reception was arranged, and the participants enjoyed further discussion.
Ms. Keiko Honda
Keiko Honda is the Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), the political risk insurance and credit enhancement arm of the World Bank Group.
Previously, she was the first woman senior partner in Asia at McKinsey & Company. There, she advised financial institutions on matters related to corporate finance, corporate strategy, and business development. Prior to joining McKinsey, Honda worked for Bain & Company and Lehman Brothers.
She has authored and co-authored several books, including M&A and Alliance Strategy and Turnaround. She holds a bachelor’s degree in consumer economics from Ochanomizu University and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, where she was selected as a Fulbright Scholar.
